Character Information
Name: Lucius Malfoy
Age/Birthday: 22, born December 2nd, 1954
Race/Species: Human/Wizard/Caucasian/Male
Adult/Student: Adult
Desired Occupation/Occupation: Ministry Worker
Wand: Elm with a Dragon Heartstring core
Play-by: Mitch Hewer (for now)
Physical Description Tall, blonde, pale and handsome Lucius has the looks, the power and the wealth that any young wizard could want. Behind his cool grey eyes Lucius hides his secrets, wants and desires. Finding that most witches and wizards choose not to stare too deeply into his eyes, he finds it hard to sometimes conceal what his eyes hold especially when anger occasionally gets the better of him. Lean and slightly athletic, Lucius isn’t the most muscular of men, and views those with them as slightly dense with the future of only being a bodyguard as with a wand he can’t understand why such physical strength is important.
Family He has a father, Abraxas Malfoy, who is slowly dying of a disease he contracted years ago. Lucius blames it on old age. He also has a mother, who spends her day caring for Lucius and Abraxas like she has nothing better to do. He has no siblings, but he does have a fiancé – Narcissa.
History
Past and Present:
Despite the wealth, status and instant popularity, the world is less than amusing to Lucius who often finds himself in company which he acknowledges as beneath him and unworthy of his presence. Despite this he counts amongst his follower’s half bloods and those without any status that has yet to be acquired and understands that despite their lack of substance he has to endure their existence and so often uses it to his advantage. Believing in purity and hierarchy Lucius finds it hard to keep hold of the same acquaintances who he could class as friends as he usually finds fault in each. However despite this, since coming to Hogwarts he has found his standards lowered somewhat as he has realised that the unrealistic standards which have been imprinted on him may be a little high. Hogwarts is merely a stepping stone in Lucius’ life since he has embraced the path which was set out before him he understands what must be done in the years before he can prove the greatness which dwells inside of him.
Living the perfect lifestyle often leads Lucius to the feeling of entrapment. Despite the encouragement, support and loyalty he receives from his parents and extended family members, Lucius has never been given true freedom in terms of his future and ambitions and so has had to live with what is expected of him. This might seem like a doomed life to be forced to live but Lucius agrees with his parent’s beliefs and is passionate about the cause which he is willingly heading towards. Well on his way to becoming a Deatheater Lucius is both cruel and manipulative. Willing to use anything and anyone to get what he wants he often finds it unnecessary as wealth buys him most things, however when it doesn’t he finds his natural talent in other things more useful.
Skills:
Viewing each weakness as having strength, Lucius would never admit to having any weaknesses though in his mind and heart he knows he has a few which he holds closeted. His strengths consist of many strands which centre on the status of his family though he is rapidly creating a name for himself. A natural with his wand, curses and the dark arts come naturally to him considering the importance that his family holds on them. Herbology and potions aren’t subjects which Lucius has much strength in though his grades don’t show this, he has found other ways to keep them up.
Interesting Facts:
Lucius thoroughly dislikes a show off as he finds it distasteful and unnecessary. Flaunting wealth isn’t a trait which sits well with him as he believes that status and the like precedes a person though the exception does indeed exist in certain cases. Enjoying the finer things in life, he has learnt to appreciate the simpler things which his parents never allowed him the pleasure of. A big quiddich fan, Lucius enjoys the exhilarating rush that comes with the sport and finds himself indulging in both spectating and taking part when possible.
