-Albus Dumbledore visits Tom M. Riddle at orphanage.

-Tom Riddle learns of Chamber of Secrets and pledges to find it and release the monster within.

Given conflicting dates of when the marauders were in school, we determined that the most likely dates were between 1971-1977 given their ages (Since Harry was the baby of his year and was eleven when he started, we figured it'd make no sense for those born in 1960 to only be ten when they started).
